TERMS AND CONDITIONS

CHECK IN

  • You can check in after 13:00 Hs.
  • If you arrive before 13:00 Hs, you'll be allowed to check in only if your bed is vacant.
  • If you have a booking, you will have to show the confirmation receipt (e-mail, fax, receipt, etc.).
  • You will have to present your Passport, fill a short form and pay for the whole stay reserved, with cash or credit card.
  • A bed and a locker will be assigned to you.
  • You'll receive:
    1. one pillow
    2. one clean sheet set
    3. one locker key
    4. one towel

PAYMENTS

  • The stay is paid in advance, without exceptions.
  • If you are planning to stay more than one night and you wish to keep your bed for all your stay, you must pay the complete stay when checking in.
  • If you pay day by day, you are subject to be moved from one bed to another or to a different dorm according to the necessities of the hostel, as well as having to leave if no place left.

  • Internet wireless
  • Sheets and towel
  • Air conditioning in all rooms.
  • Locker with key
  • Equipped kitchen, refrigerator, living and dinner rooms
  • Hot Water 24 hours.
  • Parking lot.

PAID SERVICES

  • Security deposit box: you can leave your values at the Front Desk and we will keep them for you.
  • Bicycles: you can rent them by day.
  • Mini-Market, Bar and Restaurant.
  • Public Telephone for calling and receiving.

CHECK OUT

  • The day of your departure, you will have to leave your bed and locker unconditionally before 11:00 Hs 
  • If you don't leave your bed and locker at 11:00 Hs, the hostel reserves the right to take out your personal effects and/or charge you a fine of 5 dollars per hour of delay in leaving them vacant.
  • When checking out, you will have to return the locker's key, the set of sheets and the towel that were given to you when arriving. Within your locker you must have left the pillow.
  • You will be charged with 30 dollars per missing item.

COEXISTENCE NORMS

  • Respect the absolute silence of which are resting between 02:00 hs and 9:00 hs.
  • Leave your room for its cleaning between 15:00hs and 17:00hs.
  • Always be respectful with your roommates, specially when order, silence and moral conventions are concerned.
  • Do not to leave personal objects in bathrooms and common areas.
  • Maintain the cleaning and neatness of the common use areas.
  • Throw the trash in the corresponding baskets.
  • Throw the cigarettes in the corresponding ashtrays.
  • Turn off the lights after using them.

PROHIBITIONS

  • Smoke, drink or eat in rooms, bathrooms and corridors.
  • Enter non registered people in the rooms or corridors.
  • Leave your locker open or your properties outside of it.
  • The hostel will not be responsible under any concept by missing effects.
  • Wash clothes in the bathrooms.
  • Dry clothes, towels or other articles in the room.
  • Use illegal drugs within the perimeter of the hostel
  • Use or sleep in a bed not assigned.
  • Use a locker not assigned
  • Sleep in a bed without sheets.
  • Listen to music or radio without headphones.

 

Maintaining these few and simple rules we will have an excellent

coexistence between all the guests of the hostel, thus to be able to

spend superb vacations in Punta del Este. Our crew is at your service to evacuate any doubt, as well as to

solve any misfortune that can be generated.

El Naufrago reserves the right of admission and permanence.

The violation of anyone of these norms, as well as the theft or

destruction of furniture or other objects belonging to the hostel will

have as consequence the immediate expulsion of the establishment

without right to reclamation nor the return of paid stays, in addition to

the obligation of the payment of the repairs or corresponding

replacements.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE BOOKING

You can request a booking filling the booking form.

 

In all cases, it is required an advance deposit of the cost of one night per

person and the 20% of the rest of the stay booked as reservation fee.

 

This reservation fee will be credited to your favor when you check in.

 

Any advance deposit is lost automatically when:

 

- You cancel your booking.

- You don't show, loosing also the booking and your stay if paid in advance.

- You stay for a shorter time than booked.

 

Under no circumstances will be taken as accepted a booking without the

reservation fee, written confirmation from us and booking number .

 

The simple fact of filling and sending the booking form of our website does

not guarantee the booking, which will depend on availability and

confirmation.

 

You can pay with VISA, Mastercard, American Express or Western Union.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Any advance deposit is lost automatically when:

 

- You cancel your booking.

- You don't show, loosing also the booking and your stay if paid in advance.

- You stay for a shorter time than booked.

 

Stays paid in advance have the following refund policy:

 

- Cancellation with more than 90 days in advance to the arrival date:

70% of the total amount paid.

- Cancellation with more than 60 days in advance to the arrival date:

40% of the total amount paid.

- Cancellation with less than 60 days in advance to the arrival date:

0% of the total amount paid.

 

Without a written notice 24 hs in advance of your arrival day, it is

considered NO SHOW when you don't check in before 21:00 hs (9 PM) of

your booked arrival day, loosing the booking and any advance deposit.

Other than the exposed before, there are no refunds.
